Day 13 Moscow-Tver
Up early and go !.
Tver is Dutch for " too far ", let's hope we make it, first we visit
a
religious place some 80 km north of the Russian capital.
Sergijew Possad, the monastery is very old and what's hanging on the
walls is beyond our imagination....
One thing I must tell you, it's called progress I think, facing the
chapel was a McDonald’s....Yes I'm not joking... I'll have a Big Mac
and a coffee for the road.
The road towards Tver is straight as an arrow, beware no falling
asleep !!!.
Again lovely wooden houses and very friendly people, but Russian roads
Oh, don't go there....This was the title for today's stage.
Our mechanic team, driving a V70 R Estate, bought it as you can see
below.
The trailer's right wheel got caught and dragged the car sideways into
the ditch..... Fortunately no personal damage, just their ego was a
bit
dented and the car's right side. The military had to come to drag them
out.
Finally everyone made it to the Hotel in Tver.
